Band 4+: Discuss the economic, social, and cultural impact of immigration in the USA.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

The U.S is known for its desire to have individuals from other countries through numerous of programs. For instance, the diversity program, H-B programs, and the most common one is under the practical practice program “OPT” this program is mostly for international students who desire to experience the working field in the U.S after graduation, and of course sometime this converts to a permanent residency.

Within that being said, it’s absolutely normal to have various of cultures in one place because of the number of people coming from different nations to start a new life in the U.S. This has both pros and cons, for example big companies will be benefiting from immigrants since they will be able to have more workers rather than having a few although, this might be an issue for some since they will be responsible to pay for a specific visa to sponsor their employees under the HB-1 visa which cost a lot of money for the attorney who is going to be seeking for the documents they need to provide to the company they are working for.

Another pro of immigrants is increasing the economic industry when they have more people to come to the U.S. that means they will be purchasing properties, vehicles, etc. This is of course will help the U.S with enhancing their economic. Discussing the last impact of immigrants; the social impact. An impact will definitely occur to the American people when they live and work among other people from other countries, they will be adopting some of their acts whether it’s a good attitude or not. Although, I don’t think this is a main thing to talk about, however it happens when they communicate with other on daily basis; like at the supermarket, banks, schools, etc. Both sides will be impacted by the other.
