The effects of increased global tourism is more harmful rather than beneficial. I agree, because increased global tourism brings overcrowding and pollution.
Firstly, due to the overcrowding the space becomes tight that the tourist starts to push each other, feels suffocation. There are times where people don’t follow instructions. In that case global tourism becomes harmful not only to humans but also for the animals. For example tourist mistreat animals in a way they would use a horse to travel on it or to place there things like bags and heavy stuff. Another reason is that resources are limited like water, electricity and food. For example a tourist visits an area where there is scarcity.
On the other hand pollution, is the another reason that needed to be controlled. Where tourist would bring their own cars, trucks or commute on buses, bicycles, trains and vans, which will increase pollution and traffic at the same time. For example tourists throw the waste away on roads, gardens and other areas they don’t remain the place clean.
Therefore, I conclude that global tourism is more harmful because of overcrowding and pollution.
