It is believed that classmates have more influence on the child’s success in school rather than parents . However, i believe that both parents and peers play an essential role in child’s education.
As parents are the ones, who raise and bring up their children from an early ages , they have a direct contact and impact on their success througout their lives. Moreover, parents are good educators who allocate their time for their child and conduct extra classes apart from their school lessons. For example, chidren at their young ages might feel shy to ask for a help from his/her peers or school tutor if they did not get the class or home tasks , so basically what they usually do is that , they go home and immediately approach their parents. Furthermore , parents have a great contribution to not only child’s success or education , but also who they are and what they have become today.
On the other hand, i also think that classmates have an influence on child’s achievements at school too, because when a person interacts with peers every single day, that person may develop numerous important skills or sometimes even feel motivated to be more active during the classes and earn high points to become more knowledgeable or noticeable among other students . Addtionally, children will boost their confidence admired by classmates. Peers, can serve as a role model for child’s development and learning process . For example, group works tasks may develop collaboration and teamwork among children which is considered as useful skill that they can implement in the future.
To sum up , both parents and classmates are vital in child’s success at school. Since , children closely interact with them constantly and there are many necessary things that they can learn from them.
