It is argued that the government is the only responsible party to protect the environment and that it is the main body pertaining to this responsibility.
I completely disagree with this opinion and think that protecting the environment is not only the responsibility of the government but also the responsibility of all humans living in the country.
On the one hand, all humans have a main responsibility to protect the environment for maintaining basic living standards. Although, it is more helpful to produce fresh air to breathe and fresh food and drinks, which are basic needs and wants for people to live a healthy life. As an example, protecting the environment is beneficial for reducing many diseases that affect humans. That’s why protecting the environment is important for all human beings.
On the other hand, it creates more attractiveness for the tourism industry, which is advantageous for representing the country in the world as a better place. In the tourism industry, foreign people are keen to visit countries for traveling purposes; a main key attribute is a clean and fresh environment. Therefore, for example, tourists visiting Asian countries are more concerned about clean and fresh environmental habitats in those countries. Thus, it is the responsibility of not only the government sector but also the people living in the country.
To conclude, I strongly believe that protecting the environment is the responsibility of not only the government but also human beings, to create a good standard of living.
