In the contemporary world, it is widely assumed that television is a result of the destruction of communication among friends and family. However, I partially agree with this perspective. This essay will elaborate on my viewpoint.
On the one hand, a source of entertainment from television can enhance conversations among individuals, family and friends. This tool can offer a wide range of areas in life to enrich the conversations. For example, individuals have a conversation with their friends about awe-inspiring artworks for a longer time than ever before thanks to useful information on the Internet. Consequently, people may close a distance among family, and friends more easily.
On the other hand, this tool may be a contributing factor for is feeling of isolation among family, friends. This can be explained that people nowadays are becoming engrossed in television and other smart devices without caring about their family and friends. For instance, no one in the family talked to others due to excessively engaging in the television. As a result, lack of conversations in family or friends fosters a significant sense of isolation and boredom among people, family, and friends.
In conclusion, television can offer a wide range of entertainment to close a distance among family and friends, but it also creates the feeling of isolation if people are overly reliant on it. Therefore, it is advisable that people should strike a balance between time for television and closed relationships.
