In the coming years, there will be a positive trend for the self-driving vehicles including buses, cars, and even trucks. This will have some benefits, such as there will be more organized driving paths. On the other side, the hasty decision-making in such a matter could lead to some consequences, such as operation faults of the car that could lead to accidents. In my opinion, there are more drawbacks for this matter than the advantages.
On one hand, self-driving vehicles have a verity of advantages in the future. For example, driverless vehicles will make passengers feel more comfortable, especially in taxis as they will be by themselves. In addition, the cost of taking public transportation will be lower as there will be no drivers to pay for them.
On the other hand, this has some disadvantages. For example, anything that will happen to the vehicle no one will know about it. These things can be flat tires and overheated engines. Moreover, the number of accidents will increase as the driverless cars cannot anticipate the movement of cars with drivers and vice versa. In addition, there will be more errors in this type of vehicles. For example, navigation errors will be the most type of errors that can cause some problems.
In conclusion, most cars will become driverless in the future and the only individuals inside them will be passengers. This will lead to lessen the cost of transportation and more organized roads. However, system errors of these type of vehicles will make more accidents.
