Nowadays, there is a widespread belief that suggesting to employees subsidized membership of gyms and sport clubs by employers is beneficial to their health and leads efficient work quality. Although some people believe that offering the employees subsidized membership of gyms and sport clubs by employers is not related to working effectively, I believe that it makes company’s incomes improve with good quality of work.
First and foremost, subsidized membership of gyms and sport clubs is easy to see that it improves health and well-being. What I mean by this is that regular exercise promotes better sleep. For example, it leads to increased alertness and performance during work hours. In addition to doing sports increases energy levels. In other words physical activity boosts energy levels. As a consequence employees improve focus and productivity at work. That’s why I support this idea.
However on the other side of this argument it must be remembered that subsidized membership of gyms and sport clubs can be costly for businesses, especially for larger organizations with many employees. For example, a company with 100 employees can spend between 30 grand and 50 grand a month. This is really huge amount of money and it means approximately 500 grand a year. If company gain few income, subsidized membership of gyms and sport clubs causes crisis.
Though there are enough arguments not to support this idea, I prefer supporting this idea.
