Employers should concentrate on personal characteristics instead of qualifications and experience when they choosing applicants for a job. I personally believe that employers should choose someone, taking into account their qualifications and experience in this sphere, because the future quality and usefulness of the employee depends on these aspects.
To begin with, employers should put attention on employees qualifications in this profession, because the future quality of work depends mostly on these aspect. All people after finishing their school enter university and choose the course which they will study to be prepared to work in this sphere which they chose, but if they haven’t required education, applicants just won’t cope with the difficulties of work. In addition, this will badly affect the employer’s company. Meanwhile, applicants who want to work as doctors, police officers, firefighters, must have a qualification, because these professions influence other people. For example, If the policeman doesn’t know the laws, he can’t keep order and safety of citizens. As for the professions such as engineering, building and so on, workers must have a qualification and degree too, because an untrained specialist may get injured or cause damage to the company, such as breaking something important.
Furthermore, employers shouldn’t forget about checking the experience of the employee in the sphere where he wants to work. In the professions, such as waiter, cleaner, IT worker and dispatcher, applicants similarly must have an experience,obviously, because the future usefulness depends mostly on this aspect. For example, dispatchers must have an experience, because they need to talk with people and they should be co-operative and need to know how to talk with people, all of this they can learn by experience. However, personal qualities are not something to ignore completely. Sometimes, personal qualities help the employee to find friends among colleagues, and having good qualities helps them to be likely to the staff and admin.
All in all, employers should focus on personal qualities instead of qualifications and experience when they choose someone for a job, i agree that they should choose applicants putting an attention on their qualification and experience mostly than on workers personal qualities.
