It is generally assumed that managers ought not to be worried about the dresscode at their work. What they concern about should be the quality of work performed by workers. I partly agree with this statement and think that dresscode is as necessary as the quality of tasks.
On the one hand, uniform is one of the most important motives that create discipline in the workplace. This means that if the employees were given a chance to wear whatever they want at work, this would bring inequality to the workplace. I believe it is crucial that employers should strictly check dresscode in their workplaces so as to ensure workers’ attitudes towards their roles and duties. Specially office workers who serve the citizens of the countries are highly advised to wear in a formal way.
On the other hand, the quality of tasks carried out by employees needs to be regulated by the managers as well. This is to say, bosses should ensure about whether the workers perform the tasks successfully or not in order to refine their overall productivity. If the workers know they work under the supervision of their employers, they will have the feeling of responsibilty towards their duties. Furthermore, the quality of work is the first and major factor that makes the company owners reach highly achievable goals and outperform their competitors.
In conclusion, I believe that not only do employers control the quality of work done by workers but should be certain about the workers who disobey ascertained dresscodes at their work.
