The proportion of people who believe that it is advantageous . others think that national language plays a crusial role. I think that it has both negative and positive sides. In the forthcoming lines of this essay I will discuss and explain my viewpoint.
On the one hand, I think that this tendency is beneficial development, even local languages are becoming of secondary importance. First advantageous fact is that it makes international communication more easier. When everybody know the same language they can become like one big nation or society where everybody able to communicate in one language and it results safety and friendly environment. As a result it helps solve different problems such as general economy issues, when countries’ athuorities understand each other it makes their discussion more comprehandable, also businesses and companies can create strong coorporations. Moreover, I also believe that this phenamenon provides a huge source of information. People may become more educated because a myriad of information are accessable in English. For instance, when english become global language, A lot of students capable to become smart by studying deverse materials of different countries. Consequently, it transforms younger generation become the genue.
However, on the other hand, there are disadvantages which should be mentioned, and the most detrimental aspect of this trend is that people are losing their national identity. When it is easy to talk in one general language, local people prefer talk in their languages less time. As a result, it causes national problems. The nations may start lose their culture, traditions, and their identity after some time. It can make the whole world look similar. For instance, when everywhere look similar without their own style, it creates similarty, and tourism can completely dissapear.
In conclusion, as every coin has two sides, this trend that english become top one language by making local languages secondary also contain banefits and drawbacks. Beneficial facts is that it creates international communication in one language and provides a huge source of information. But, detrimental facts is that losing nation identity and making whole countries similar. These advantages able to outweigh its demerits.
