It is true that environmental issues are increased day by day. Therefore, some people reckon that we should protect environment at international level. However, opponents believe that this problem would be solved nationally with the help of individuals. I am partially agree with the statement.This essay will intend to analyze both viewpoints in the subsequent paragraphs.
To commence with, it is irrefutable that many steps can be taken at national level to protect environment. The government should spread awareness to general public, because no changes can be made without the individual support. If the general public will not follow the rules, Which are impose by the authorities, then it would be waste of time. Moreover, the government should introduce solar system and energy efficient products to protect the environment. For instance, in the India government gave two led bulbs to each government employee to reduce the usage of electricity.
On the flip side, some section of society assert that environmental problems are too big for single nation to tackle, we should handle it at international level, because no matter what a country does to protect the environment, if all countries will not follow the same pattern, then it would not be possible to solve environmental problems. For example, the ozone layer is depleting day by day, which is causing increase in temperature. If a country is reducing domestic flights to reduce air pollution, then it would not solve the problem, untill all countries will not follow the same rules. Therefore, environmental problems are too big for single individual.
To recapitulate, individual cannot sit back and say it is government’s responsibility. We should join hands with other nations to protect the future.
