It is debatable that ethnic discrimination is a barrier of the world work force’s enhancement. From my perspective, I totally concur with this statement owing to several reasons including waste of human resources and work productivity reduction.
To begin with, racial inequity drives waste of manpower as it prevents talented ethnic people from collaborating with the nonracial. It is apparent that various cultural groups have a unique ability in a field such as the Indians are masters at technology or the Chinese are proficient at mathematics. Thus, providing these individuals with the opportunity to work together not only improves the areas corresponding to their strengths and aspirations but also enhances work progress and results. However, racialism precludes employers from recruiting ethnic citizens into their business. Consequently, this tendency impacts negatively on people expressing full potential and the work production, causing stagnation in the field.
Moreover, race prejudice exerts a detrimental toll on work productivity by fostering an environment of exclusion. When individuals face discrimination based on their ethnicity within the workplaces, it results in a pervasive sense of alienation and undermines team cohesion. This toxic atmosphere hinders effective communication, cooperation and innovation, which play a vital role in a productive working environment. Via some research, if employees from ethnic backgrounds feel undervalued, they may be less likely to share their perspectives or contribute effectively on the field. The organizations would suffer from a reduction in overall productivity while facing a lack of skills and creative ideas.
In conclusion, I believe that racism hampers world’s labor resources, thus, addressing this problem is essential to create a better society as well as more chances for ethnic people to improve their overall well-being.
