The Benefits of Reducing School Exams
Many students face regular tests every term. While exams check progress, schools should reduce them. This essay aims to discuss two reasons why not taking a lot of exams is important.
The first reason why I think that not taking a lot of exams is important is that frequent tests cause high stress. Students often lose sleep and feel anxious before each test. For example, many teenagers often report headaches and poor concentration during exam weeks.
Another key reason to limit exams is that traditional tests only measure memorization. They completely ignore practical skills like teamwork and creative problem-solving. For instance, collaborative projects help students apply knowledge to daily real-world situations instead of just recalling facts.
In conclusion, I strongly believe schools should limit testing because it reduces stress and encourages real learning. Teachers must focus on practical activities to help students succeed in future life.
