There is a burgeoning perception that is a growing argument that everyone should adopt a vegetarian diet for its numerous benefits. Nevertheless, a balanced diet that includes meat can also be beneficial for many people. This essay will discuss both sides before concluding.
The one hand, there are several compelling reasons why a vegetarian diet can be advantageous for maintaining good health. Firstly, as we know, vegetables, fruits have a quantity of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and fiber. It is not only helping improve our health and physical fitness but also protecting us from harmful things. Besides, it also increases the resistance for us from diseases like cancer, skin problems and related to human organ systems. For instance, studies have shown that vegetarians tend to have lower cholesterol levels and a reduced risk of heart disease. Secondly, this habit has an impact on the environment. Producing meat of animals will cause extreme influences, which will contribute to environmental degradation. From hunting of humans, the number of species will significantly decline, especially animals which are endangered like blue whales, black rhinoceros or giant panda, and it affected to ecological environment of nature.
On the other hand, despite the benefits of vegetarianism, including meat in the diet can also offer significant health advantages. First and foremost, meats can meet people’s need of the variety of nutrients, which are harder to obtain from plant-base sources. For example, Vitamin B12 found predominantly in animal products, is vital for neurological function to enhance the cardiovascular system and create strong resistance to prevent disease. In addition, red meat is a rich source of proteins, which is necessary for muscle development and repairing sport injuries. In Vietnam, most athletes and gymers rely on meat for optimal proteins intake. Proteins are not only the best nutrient for building muscle, but also provide much energy to boost their moods during a training section. Therefore, meat becomes remarkably popular for Vietnamese sporty people, which is unnecessary for a balanced diet to keep fit.
In conclusion, While a vegetarian diet can provide numerous benefits, incorporating meat can also contribute to a well-rounded and nutritionally complete diet. Therefore, it is not necessary for everyone to become vegetarian. From my point of view, I think that this issue has both advantages and disadvantages, so I both agree and disagree on it. People should focus on creating a balanced diet that meets their personal nutritional needs and preferences.
