Education is one of the most effective tools for enhancing society, providing people with the skills and knowledge necessary to address global challenges. Educational philosophy investigates the objective and role of education in promoting advancement in society and human development. Education gives individuals the ability to manage critical situations, foster creativity, and improve their communities.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been developed by the United Nations (UN) to deal with the most significant global issues, such as poverty, climate change, and inequality. Every individual should have access to a fair, accessible, and high-quality education, according to Sustainable Development Goal 4, which is all about excellent education. Sustainable Development Goal 7, which represents Affordable and Clean Energy, supports sustainable energy practices.
The importance of education in achieving these two Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be explored in this essay, with a focus on how it can bring positive change. Furthermore, it will highlight how institutions such as Kazakhstan-British Technical University (KBTU) facilitate classes about sustainability and efficient use of energy. Through these initiatives, the Kazakh-British Technical University advances education and responsibility toward the environment while providing students with the knowledge they need to contribute meaningfully to a sustainable future.
