It is argued that extreme sports should be prohibited, because they are very hazardous. I completely disgaree with this statement for a number of different reasons that this essay will discuss in detail.
One of the reasons why there is no need to ban sports such as skydriving and skiing is because all games are dangerous in some ways. It means, no matter what sport one chooses, it always presents a risk of being injuried or, worse, encountering a fatal outcome. However, I believe that all athletes are aware of the danger and they know what they are going to face. Moreover, all people are usually required to undergo various testings and careful preparations, so the risks are minimazed. For instance, anyone who wants to try skydiving is supposed to sign up for different training lessons to learn the basics of this sport and, also, beginners are not allowed to dive solo; they must be accompanied by an experienced professional.
Another reason to support my point is safety measures that are taken into account. In other words, nowadays there are many protective equipment and technology used in sports from ropes to some professional devices. It helps people to ensure that athlets will not be hurt and injuried under any risky circumstances. For example, before completing any perilous exercises, one is always equipped with a proper set of necessary tools and a safety instructur is given as well.
In conclusion, extreme sports are becoming increasingly popular today. Although it is believed that governments should ban them, I disagree with this idea because all possible precautions are considered.
