Some people believe that parents of the children studying in private schools should not be responsible for taxes for educational purposes. This essay will attempt to discuss to what extent I agree with this perspective, supporting the argument by referencing real-world examples.
On one hand, most people still disagree with the idea that families with different conditions should be given an exception, and believe that everyone should be equal regardless of what school they attend as it seems unfair to have a conditional offer for specific individuals. I am able to see why the majority of people think so as it can potentially cause biases and conflicts between individuals who get unsimilar conditions.
However, I strongly advocate the idea that taxes should not be paid by the families who do not send their children to public schools. In other words, the government should publish exceptional offers for those families as it seems to be unfair in case they are required to spend money on others behalf. For example, in Thailand, especially my own family, my parents were given a conditional offer in reducing taxes payment as I did not attend public school. In this case, this obviously helped my parents to effectively manage their income and spend money on what was necessary only.
To conclude, personally, I agree with this idea to a small extent as I cannot see a point of spending money on the service that we have not used. Therefore, it is crucial for the government or related organizations to propose a regulation addressing this issue in order to provide those families with fairness.
