Nowadays, fast food is becoming a part of everyday life in many countries, especially in huge countries where people are very busy. Some people think it is good way to save time. However, I completely agree with this statement because it is harmful to our health and it leads to unhealth eating habits.
Firstly, fast food has bad effects on people’s health. It usually contains a lot of fat, sugar, oil and salt, but it does not have enough vitamins and minerals. People who eat fast food too often may become overweight and unhealthy. They can also suffer from diseases such as heart problems, high blood pressure and diabetes. Because of this, fast food can reduce quality of people’s life.
Secondly, fast food changes people’s eating habits and lifestyle. Many people prefer fast food instead of cooking at home because it is quick and easy, especially when they are tired after work or school. As a result, they eat less healthy food like fruits, vegetables and homemade meals. In addition, people may stop learning how to cook proper meals, this can affect their family life. Families may also spend less time eating together because everyone chooses fast food at different times.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that fast food has more negative effects on our lifestyle and diet. People should try to eat more homemade food and reduce fast food in their daily life to stay healthy.
