Their involvement in such matters is celebrated among the masses to some extent. Nonetheless, a large number of people opine that they should refrain from these issues and should remain impartial in their stances. I partially agree with both views.

The other side of the coin phases out the connection of celebrities with public affairs. For instance, film stars and media figures are unlikely to understand political wit. So, expressing their political views publicly may lead to chaos. Besides, they should be careful about their words because their views are bound to catch media attention. Above all, the right to exercise freedom of expression should not be fragrantly used, even if comes to a celebrity. He should understand that he is the representative and ambassador of the home country so any slip of the tongue could consequently malign the social fabric of the country.
To boil down the discussion, the recent past has noticed an overwhelming response and support from celebrities in matters important to the public. Some people cherish this trend while others oppose their presence in public affairs. However, everyone should be given the right to express themselves taking the consequences under consideration.
