Violet films and computer games are becoming increasingly popular among today’s generation. While some people argue that they are harmful and negatively impact society, calling for a ban, others believe that they are harmless and merely serve as a means of relaxation. This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting my own view.
On one hand, many people believe that violent media can negatively affect individuals and society, particularly young people who are more engaged with it. Exposure to violent media can instill a different type of aggression. Moreover, those who consume this media often struggle to distinguish between fiction and reality, which can affect their attitudes and behavior. As a result, this may lead to problems such as increased aggression, criminal behavior, and bullying, which some argue warrants a ban.
On the other hand, supporters of violent media argue that it provides an avenue for relaxation and enjoyment in their free time. They do not see it as harmful, but rather as a way to pass the time. Many gamers view these games as competitions that allow them to focus and inspire younger players. Additionally, involvement in these games can lead to recognition and income for some players.
In my opinion, although violent games do have an impact on individuals and society, completely banning them is both wrong and unnecessary. Instead, the government should impose age restrictions so that access can be limited for certain age groups. Additionally, there should be rules and regulations in place to mitigate potential harm.
In conclusion, while some people believe that violent games should be banned due to their negative influence on society, I believe that they should be regulated rather than entirely prohibited.
