In this contemporary era, excessive use of fossil fuels has become more prevalent than ever before in developing countries; however, some developed countries have started to use renewable sources such as wind and solar power to reduce the usage of fossil fuels. In my opinion, this is deemed as a positive development because this process can help mitigate global warming and third world country’s governments will able to provide more resouces to people living in rural areas.
The key reason why this trend is a positive development is that it can help reduce global warming. To be more precise, excessive use of fossil fuels lead to high green house gas emissions to the environment, which then causes global warming. Consequently, these increasing tempertaures can contribute to a vas array of problems such as coastal flooding and food shortages. Therefore, if countries used more renewable sources such as solar power, less carbon emissions would be released to the environmnet and it would also help to decrease global warming.
Another reason to argue that this development is positive is that governments in developing countries will be able to provide more resources such as electricity to rural areas. This is because most governments in developing countries do not have sufficient funds to buy fossil fules, thereby limiting electricity for rural areas. Although investing in building renewable energy sources can be initially expensive for governments, it can provide long-term benefits to citizens. Thus, governments will be able to provide benefits to all citizens.
In conclusion, in my perspective, this development can be seen as a positive trend because it can help with reducing worldwide temperatures and providing more comforts for people especially in developing countries.
