It is true that financing pupils and students with extra money has risen in popularity worldwide/all around the world. I suppose that the drawbacks of the practice outweigh the benefits.
To begin with the positives, providing the youth with pocket money improves their skills of managing money. This is because that as they often receive some money from their parents and relatives, this practice might give them a lesson of budget control. In contrast, in the future they may face the troubles about controlling funds as fully as possible. In addition to the positives while they obtain money they might learn how to save money for a specific intentions such as giving gifts to friends and relatives or buying a new something even attending any kind of courses . In comparison if they weren’t aware of knowledge of saving money reducing responsibility might occur in their lives afterwards
Facing to the drawbacks of this trend,as they regularly take money they may not realize the value of the money. Becoming accustomed to take money easily makes them a bit lazy when they have a serious task to cope with. Furthermore they couldn’t appreciate the hard work behind money. Additionally providing the youngsters with extra money may causes crime committed by their actions. This is because extra money opens a way to become addicted to drinking alcohols getting drugs and so on. Contrary to if they don’t have pocket money, they couldn’t go in street of crime.
In conclusion, although providing the youngsters with pocket money has brought some advantages of teaching them to control money and collecting money for a specific reason, it also caused some drawbacks such as leading them to a crime and misunderstanding the value of money.
