It is true that individuals now have a variety of products to purchase from everywhere in the world because of internalization. While there are certain drawbacks associated with buying international goods, I am of the opinion that there are far more benefits.
Admittedly, one significant downside of internalization is that when people purchase more international goods compared to own goods, local businesses may face huge loss. This is primarily due to the fact that individuals have a wide rang of products from different countries to buy, then they might not purchase their local products at a similar price. Moreover, more dependency on international goods may affect the country’s economy. For instance, when people purchase other countries goods, local businesses could not compete with this situation and it may affect the country’s economy.
Despite these concerns, the advatages of internalization all over the world far outweigh the disadvantage. One key benefit is that individuals have the chance to buy different products including food, clothing and technology. This is mainly because the availability of internet and widespread of industrialization make it a common way for customers. In addition, given that people purchase products from other countries, it can give them cultural understandings. For example, the fact that individuals can find other cultures in their products means that they can learn from it.
In conclusion, although there are some limitations to internalization, the positive aspects of this trend make it highly beneficial. I firmly believe that it should be integrated more widely.
