Some individuals often argue that the government should invest funds on public services such as better healthcare, reduced traffic jams on the road, provide good facilities in the education for the children, and promote public transportation in cities are essential for people to improve quality of life. In contrast, other people consider that funds which are allocated for the arts and music are a waste of time and costs, although arts play a significant role in society. I partially agree with this scenario and the reasons for my perspective are described in the following paragraphs.
To begin with, there are several advantages to spending government money on public services, as these are essential for people. Firstly, investing in the healthcare sector allows hospitals to provide advanced medical treatment for patients suffering from serious diseases, helping them enjoy a better quality of life. In addition, modern medical equipment enables doctors to diagnose illnesses more quickly and accurately. As a result, patients can receive fast treatment without having to wait for a long period. Secondly, the government can invest in improving roads by making them wider and using high-quality construction materials. Consequently, traffic congestion can be reduced, making travel safer and more convenient for the public. For example, the Indian government has invested in projects such as Delhi-Mumbai highway which has reduced journey time and improved connectivity for millions of people.
However, the arts should not be a waste of money. Museums and art galleries preserve the history of the culture by creating art and pictures which is important for having information for people. In addition, the arts attract tourists and increase employment opportunities. For instances, in the delhi every year conduct the art fair and millions of people come to visit and explore different type of arts which is putting in the fair.
In conclusion, although improving public facilities are essential for the good living, the arts are also important to preserve the culture and history information for the individuals.
