Government investment in sports is a waste of money, however, it should be invested in other departments, such as the public sectors for the betterment of society. I completely agree with this statement,and i will support my agreement with possible reasons in the forthcoming essay.
Supporting my agreement,i firmly believe that the government should facilitate to the healthcare and educational institutes because funding more to these sectors can reduce the poverty rate. Firstly, investment in schools and colleges will improve the learning system and boost up the literacy. For instance,in Pakistan, about 50 to 60 percent of youngsters are unable to get education because of financial barriers and thus,it lead to illiteracy. Moreover,by supporting the healthcare centers financially , resources will be enhanced for underserved communities. Similarly,transportation also needs a huge budget beacuse it is very insufficient. The government should avail buses or taxis for the local people and infrastructure also needs a huge development.if the governmnent allocated budget to te above all these sectors properly,then the country will grown up.
On the other hand, Pakistan cricket team not giving their hundred percent and is one of the major reason of my disagreement.Their performance is below average. While,some sports sector are really remarkable and government should facilitate them . For example, according to a report, Pakistan has participated in the Olympics since 1948 and has won several medals.
In Conclusion, both public and sports are equally important.it should be the responsiblity of the government to allocate funds wisely, which ultimately will be in the favor of whole nation.
