Band 4+: Having a large pet dog is becoming ever more popular, although the lifestyles and homes that people have are becoming less and less suited to dog ownership. What problems does this cause and what possible solutions are there to these problems.

It is belived that big dogs are becoming more interesting inspite of smaller housings. The main problem is regarded to resposibility of dog owners that do not consider living area of flat for their smaller friends that demand more space to walk around, run, jump and play. This contributes to limited space which considers by pets like a prison contributing to negative psychological state of dogs which fundamentally different from human livestyle which does not require so spacious areas

Imagine that you live in small even almost squeezed flate where you can not move anywhere you want, you would feel absolutely uncomfotable with such mocking over you. The same feeling most of the time feel even large dogs that need to run and walk around . However, people see some dogs cute and funny what contributes them to buy such dogs being faded by their wishes and emotions instead of logical and critical analysis of economic, spacious and medical possibilities of owner. It related to flates where having a dog is right off means that dog will not feel freedom of action and movement what would lead to disorders or even disobedience of dog such as roaring , biting

Meanwhile, the only way out the of issue is to porvide trainings to dog owners that directed to inform them and educate about importance of respecting dogs’ freedom of movement . One potential solution to address this issue is the implementation of mandatory pet suitability assessments before purchasing or adopting large dog breeds. These assessments could evaluate the size of the living space, daily schedules, access to outdoor environments, and financial readiness of the owner. Furthermore, local governments or housing authorities could create incentives for pet owners to use dog parks, enroll in obedience and enrichment classes, or even offer community-based programs that promote responsible pet ownership. By increasing awareness and accessibility to such resources, society can reduce the mismatch between pets and environments, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for both dogs and their owners.
