It is frequently argued that health services are too costly that outweigh its original function which supports our citizens in medical criteria. While there are a number of drawbacks regarding private health, I believe benefits that health services outweigh the cons that it may bring.
Affordability is one of the main reasons that make health services available to ordinary individuals as private companies use various strategies to make private health care services more expensive than previously. Therefore, a plethora of citizens, who already struggle to make ends meet, do not have abundance budget to purchase private health for themselves. Moreover, lots of people, who do exercise on a daily basis and are at a young age, are less likely to have diseases or get injured. Hence, they may not utilize the private health care while with an unnecessary extra expenditure.
However, this does not stand scrutiny. Firstly, if someone unfortunately suffers from stroke without having medical insurance, they are less likely to afford the cure cost, not to mention those impoverished people. Therefore, it is better to afford private medical care. Furthermore, it is true that people who do exercise often are less likely to suffer from disease. However, the possibility is not zero. We won’t know which will come first, tomorrow or by accident. Finally, private health care offers us a chance to check our body as it offers a free body check per year. We can observe how our body currently is and help us find out some hidden illness that we will never find out by ourselves. For instance, diabetes, which is nearly impossible to observe by us.
To conclude, even though we may not be able to use the private health care, it serves as a backup to help us when we meet accidents.
