In recent years, many people go to the museums and art galleries for seeing historical monuments, and some people argue that governments should return them to their country of origin. I completely agree with the idea that historical objects and artifacts may disappear in abroad, and I therefore believe that they should not stay in abroad.
On the one hand, historical arts and objects should be back to their own country. Only when states tried to maintain their cultural heritage, can administrations provide opportunity for learning about their history while seeing historical arts as well as artifacts. To illustrate, in many countries, some schools take students to museums so that they can learn about historical artifacts in real-life context, which makes learning more engaging and memorable. On top of that, returning historical objects can significantly boost tourism in their country of origin. For instance, ancient royal swords displayed in their native context tend to attract more visitors, thereby increasing tourism revenue.
However, in some countries, technology become more challenging in order to maintain ancient artifact. The main reason is that a lack of money. As some advanced technology is expensive to keep historical objects, some museums faced to financial issues in maintain historical monuments. If there are poor condition for keeping ancient things, it is beneficial to stay in big international museum, which provides opportunities to keep ancient artifacts safely.
To sum up, I fully support the view that ancient objects and artifacts ought to be brought back to their own country, if museums have good condition for maintaining.
