Homework is one of the most debated topics in education. It is often argued that homework should be banned because it created stress and pressure for students. I disagree with this opinion. In my view, homework plays a crucial role in helping students develop knowledge, responsibility, and independent learning skills.
One key why I disagree with this opinion is that homework allows learners to revise what they have learned at school. This is because by doing exercises at home, pupils can strengthen their memory and improve their understanding. For example, solving mathematics problems or writing essays help students practice important skills repeatedly, which clearly supports this view.
Another reason is that homework teaches students how to manage their time and become more responsible. As a result, learners are given tasks to complete before a deadline, they learn discipline and organization. This further opinions explains why I believe this view is correct.
In conclusion, although homework can sometimes be stressful, it should not be prohibited. If it is balanced and meaningful, homework can greatly benefit students both academically and personally.
