Human activity has harmed the environment, affecting flora and fauna and the world around us. Some people think this can be changed by taking actions, while others hope it’s impossible to fix the damage. This essay will discuss both views before giving my own opinion.
Some people believe that we can change the negative impact on the environment. If governments create strict rules and punish those who will pollute, people will be more careful. For example, in some countries, factories that release toxic waste into drivers have to pay huge fines so they try to reduce pollution. If everyone works together, it’s possible to improve the situation.
However, others argue that it’s impossible to alter. People are different, and many will continue to pollute even there are rules. For instance, even with strict environmental laws, illegal deforestation and plastic waste pollution are still big problems. Factories and companies often care about making monies and protecting the environment. Because of this, damage to earth continues, and it may be too late to fix it.
I believe that we cannot fully change the situation. Even if some people try to help the environment, many others will continue to harm it. The world is too huge to control everyone’s actions, and pollution, destruction, and species loss will keep happening.
In conclusion, while some believe that strict rules and awareness can improve the environment, others assume it’s too late. It is impossible to stop environmental destruction completely, because people will always put the needs first.
