However, in this modern era, immigration is a complex issue that has positive and negative impacts on society. The reasons for foreign arrivals are varied and can include economic, social, and political factors. The main explanation is that they lead peach-full lives. In this essay, I will express my concurrence with the positive side and offer some pertinent examples to illustrate the current state of affairs. I believe the benefits of this method outweigh its drawbacks. To begin with, there are manifold justifications for this statement, which underlie my affermitiveness with the advantage stance. One possible justification is that nowadays most individuals strive to live meaningful lives with improved amenities. For this reason, they are moving to developed countries because wealthy nations offer not only upgraded educational amenities but also multiple career opportunities. For example, many Bangladeshis are currently attempting to relocate abroad in order to progress in their professional lives. In addition, migration helps to fill labour shortages and increase economic growth. According to a recent study by renowned scholar Ferdush Ahmed of the University of Dhaka, almost 10 million Bangladeshis left their country in the previous three years in search of a wealthy lifestyle that would safeguard their future.
On the other hand, there are several negative sides that are present. Immigration can lead to overcrowding, congestion, and extra pressure on public services. The significant drawback to the flow of people is accommodation. There is also a debate about the impact of immigration pressure on wages and unemployment among native workers. Additionally, the diversity of individuals can increase the criminal activity rate in a nation, and the police force never traces the crime properly. For instance, in the US, 30% of offensive work is done by immigrants. The law enforcement agency is trying to solve the situation, but they can’t, which is raising the crime rate dramatically. While the flow of people is not well integrated into the host society.
In conclusion, immigration is a complex topic with both pros and cons, depending on the community. I think that people immigrate to have better life prospects. However, life after immigration may not always meet people’s expectations. So, it’s very important to consider all the possible outcomes and decide whether leaving your homeland is worth it.
