Overpopulation is one of the biggest threats to humankind which should be regulated to preserve not only food and water stock, also enriched inhabitation zones for future generations. Governments incite companies and people to flit from big cities to rural areas in order to subdue the danger. There may be some advantages and disadvantages that come with it.
If companies decide to disperse their huge institute network in rural, lesser inhabited areas, it may result in development and advancements of those regions. It may attract not only people that live in big cities, also local people to chase new job opportunities. New factories and population increase will require new apartments, educational centers and universities. This may also participate in educational progress of local residents with forging and thickening their outlook and knowledge. For instance, in the Middle Ages, countries that had universitites advanced more than countries that didn’t have. New factories and workplaces may strengthen economy of the country, also cause parallel growth of all districts.
Only disadvantage that comes with it is all about the government’s interest. This trend may hinder cities from developing to megalopolises. There are many megalopolises in the world, such as Moscow, New-York and Tokyo, where multiple companies gather and produce high amount of revenue for the country. It is also easier for states to control and regulate one big zone rather than multiple small areas.
In conclustion, although there is a disadvantage of economical recession, the advantages of the trend outweigh it. The trend should be followed and all states should participate in it.
