The problem of expensive accommodation is widespread among the public in many cities around the world. This essay will discuss causes and measures to tackle the problem of housing.

Unaffordable housing is a problem that many people all over the world face. In fact, everyone should have a place to call home. But in reality due to the skyrocketing cost of housing, some people do not even have a chance fora property ladder. Furthermore, big families with children suffer from the lack of stable and affordable accommodation.

Rising prices for housing lead to economic inequality. Consequently, low- income groups struggle to afford decent accommodation, while wealthy people invest in high- price properties. By taking such measures as state assistance programmes and regulations of the housing market, it is possible to find a settlement for the problem of unaffordable housing.

To sum up , lots of people face difficulties with increasing prices for housing. So, it is important to consider the state assistance programs for low- income families and regulation of the housing market in order to change the situation in countries.
