It is considered that crime rate is inclining day by day in most of regions. The reasons behind this trend are mentioned in the upcoming paragraphs and the measures for goverment to tackle with this issue.
To begin with, the first and foremost reason is social media usage. To explain this, nowadays youth get influenced by the information provide on internet sites and the content in movies or reels regarding cybercrime which destroy their entire life and leads them to choose wrong pathway for themselves. For example, a survey conducted by Indian cyber security team in 2020 revealed that 70% of cases occured by adults due to excessive use of social apps like instagram or watching movies related to crime which cause a negative impact on their minds. Therefore, strict regulations should be implemented by government to ban such negative contents on internet to reduce crime level.
Another reason behind this notion is drug addiction. In other words, these days drugs availability become more convenient which results in increasing the drug addiction rate and people are becoming homeless due to their condition which force them to do crimes like threatning people and doing robbery for money to buy drugs. For instance, an article published in 2021 in “New York Times” found that 40% of residents prefer doing work from home due to safety reasons in public areas.
As a result, organization should take some serious steps to restrict on drug manufacturing which would not only increasing public safety but also save lives of adulthood from drugs.
