In today’s fast moving industry, wasting huge amount of food is becoming increasingly omnipresent. This trend can be attributed to financial and societal factors. However, this phenomenon is likely to be mitigated through multifaceted approaches taken by concerned governments and individuals alike.
Possessing excessive amount of money, is one of the main negative reasons which drives people to waste products. As money is created not only to eat foods but also to buy something. So with money people are becoming more and more egoistic and greedy, in order to satisfy themselves they do not refuse to intake food which is excessive than average. They have a chance to extend the help of hand for impoverished individuals who eat food once in a day, otherwise some only think about themselves anyway. Eventually with eating or wasting food than medium, individuals obtain some diseases which are worse-case scenario to fatal accidents, For instance cancers, diabetes and metabolic disorders. Moreover, there are also some who overbuys groceries. Purchasing more than needed groceries, leads to spoilage. They think we can maintain it for later or special occasions, yet until the day comes groceries would turn to spoilage and it brings about wasting product more greater than ever.
Nonetheless, even though, wasting products contributes to major side effects for the individuals’ well-being, there are a few approaches which plays an instrumental role to tackle these issues. First and foremost, to address this issue government have to create restrictions or rules in the food consumption, forcing them to eat food efficiently. Additionally, nowadays restaurants are becoming increasingly extensive, no matter where you turn, establishments which are selling fast food dominate the every landscape. So government should reduce the amount of restaurants and bars, which attracts individuals’ attention with their products.
In conclusion, despite wasting foods have some negative effects for the individuals’ healthcare, such as cancers, diabetes and metabolic disorders. This issues could be mitigated by creating restrictions to the food consumption and decreasing the amount of restaurants.
