These days many people are searching for good jobs that give them a high salary. There are some countries that a few people can get extremely high salaries. Some people think that this improve the country and make it better, while other believes that there should be a limit in the income. This essay will discuss both views and I will express my opinion.
There are two major points for the first view, Firstly, the people who earns high salary are increasing the country economy by creating businesses. For example, a study by Harvard university showed that most people who have high salary mostly spend it on creating businesses. This shows that people can use their money to improve the country economy. In addition, people who have high salary can spend their money to donate it for poor people. For instance, there was a group of people from England who gathered their money and spent one million dollars for people in need. This shows many people spending their money to help people in need.
There are two major points for the second view. To start with, controlling salaries and limiting the amount people can earn helps to decrease the number of bad situations that can happen between poor and rich people. A good illustration of this is a country in Asia that did not control salaries very well had 80% more bad situation than countries that control salaries. This means that controlling and limiting the people salary help the country to reduce the bad things that happen between people. Moreover, controlling salaries make the country safer. A clear example is a conducted study by Qatar University that showed ten countries having less robbing, kidnapping and thief, the reason was that these countries controlled people salaries. This shows that countries who control people salaries have less crimes.
In conclusion, there are no easy answers to this question. On balance, however, I tend to believe that a few people who earn high salary can help the country to become one of the top in the economy leaderboard.
