In some parts of the world the number of people who do not want to become parents is growing. It happens due to rising cost on living and lack of time. From my perspective, this trend has negative consequences, such as rising taxes and disbalance between job market demand and supply.
The trend of remaining childless has become widespread. Potential parents stick to this tendency because of considerable high cost on raising a child. It includes accommodation price, cost of education and common needs, that not all people can afford even for themselves. Another factor is time that a child require. The majority of potential parents would rather spend time on reaching career goals and trying to become well-paid but not to be responsible for the life of newborn.
Refusing to grow a families may cause economics problems. Over time, the difference between the number of young and elder people becomes substantial. This ultimately lead to rising taxes in order to provide retired people deserved pension, since this payment is funded by taxes paid by working citizens. Due to large contributions some people can conceal their income not to pay a part to goverment. The tendency results in a lack of funding elder generation living that influences the overall standard of living.
To summarize, the idea of being children has become extensive all over the world due to increasing living expeses and priority to concentration on own life and success by young people. By doing so, people put country’s economics situation at risk.
