In lots of countries fast food is becoming less expensive and more widespread. This is quite an advantageous situation the fact that it can be more available to people with different status of wealth; however there are drawbacks that need to be taken into account.
Firstly, one benefit of cheaper fast food is the emerging of competition between the fast food cafes. Thus, when the product is more affordable, the quality of ingredients should remain the same. For instance, if the matter of discussion is hamburger: the vegetables should be fresh, the meat has to be ecological and finally the slices of bread where the mentioned ingredients are put should be newly baked. Therefore, the fast food cafes have to keep up with the standards along with the price. Secondly, is the possibility of creating the additional services due to the fact that the expenses are covered by many customers attracted to the cheap rates. Therefore, the number of consumers visiting the particular fast food restaurant is an index of its popularity. The income gained by them should be widely used for the enlarging the range of services provided. For instance, the delivery service which can be arranged when the courier has a bike or a motorbike to reach the delivered order from one place to another. It is obvious, that such equipment as motorbike, bicycle, helmet and the bag with the name of the brand printed demand enormous fees. Therefore, such expenses can be covered by providing cheaper products and eventually attracting a lot of customers.
On the other hand, the problem that arises is the fact that cheap fast food might not keep up with the original standards. Despite the affordable rates, the products might not be qualitative as they should be: the vegetables can be bruised, the meat might not be fresh and the slices of bread where the ingredients are put may be rigid. Moreover, it is rumored that the meat might not be ecological, due to the fact that the cows are artificially grown by the injections, which affects not only the height but the weight of them. The cows are becoming extremely big with juicy parts of the body. It is evident that the consuming of such meat might lead to the hormone diseases. Also it is rumored that such products contain the light drugs which are apparently masked as salt. Thus, the success achieved by fast food restaurants is the usage of prohibited drugs in the ingredients of products which might create addiction, leading to skin diseases and obesity. For example, there are a lot of documentaries of the negative influence of cheap fast food on people especially teenagers who are extremely obese.
To sum up, the fact that fast food restaurants are able to provide the cheap products for consuming is great, however the high bar should be kept and the quality of the ingredients should not be doubted.
