In many countries around the world, individuals are so curious to explore the history of the house or building where they live. Most people want to know whether it’s haunted or not, while some have major concerns related to safety purposes. This essay will explain their reasons and research.

One reason is that it is so fascinating that the houses where you live have some haunted stories you can find out regarding that horror stories; even some people’s interest of choice is to know more about spirits and afterlife. Furthermore, it could be dangerous to your own life because spirits don’t want us to cross that barrier which they made. For instance, there is a famous place known as Terrace hall in Karachi where some kind of unusual activities have been noticed from recent past years so people avoid going there after sunset.

The second reason could be the infrastructure of the house or building; members of the society have disquiet if it’s safe to live or it may harm their family. Moreover, it should be their legal right to be aware of how old the place where they are living is. The authorities should ban those places for families specially so it will cause any huge disaster. For example, the place where I lived in the past had a poorly constructed wall; one day there was a heavy storm and it badly fell because of the storm. Luckily, there was no life loss.

There are several ways people can research the history of a house or building,it could be found out through innovations such as News(if it’s a very famous building), Libraries and the internet. In some cases, speaking with long-term residents or neighbours can reveal personal stories that are not recorded in official documents.

In conclusion, people are increasingly interested due to safety concerns and personal curiosity. By using a combination of official records and local knowledge, individuals can successfully uncover the past of the buildings they live in.
