In present days, food produced around the world have been able to be accessed just by going to a supermarket. In my opinion, this is a positive development, as this not only helps consumers to taste other countries’ food without traveling to foreign places, but also supports the trade relations between the countries.
Availability of food from corners of the world gives people the privilege to try different tastes and quality without visiting distant places. In other words, people would not have to travel foreign places to assimilate the taste and get the overall idea of food flavors, allowing people to connect with foreign customs, which in turn can have positive impacts on tourism. Furthermore, people will have access to high quality food produced in developed countries even if they are living in developed countries, such as Nepal or Bhutan.
Another point to consider is that transportation of food all over the world can bolster the trade relations between different countries, facilitating them to increase profits and uplift their economy. For instance, if a local food or meal produced in one country is exported to other countries, then it can augment trade volume, as an increasing number of people might become habitual to it. As a result, nations will be able to generate income and uplift their economic situation, especially underdeveloped countries.
In conclusion, I believe that access to food from different parts of the world helps people to have access to foreign tastes without commuting and this can help countries to proliferate the earnings and economy of the country. Thus, countries should embrace the phenomenon and support each other.
