Smoking is now forbidden in several countries. The number of people think that, this is a right decision that is given. I strongly agree with this type of statement. From my perspectie, even smelling smoke is unbeneficial, that is why is has to be not allowed.
First of all, it may influence children in a detrimental way. For instance, juveniles or adolescents are particularly sensitive in that period and consider that it may have benefits rather than noticing negative sides. In that case they want to test it whenever they see people smoking which can make them addicted if they give it a try. After testing they become addicted, it affects their both lungs and heart rhytm immidiately.
Second of all, it may disturb residents and they can have a difficulty when they breathe smoke instead of air. To illustrate, as someone who does not smoke, I have difficulty about breathing whenever someone such as taxi driver smoke, which affects me in a detrimental way. This is due to the fact that it irritates our respiratory system. Additionally, while smoking on the street, clothes may absorb the smell of the cigarette, which may have unadvantagable effect on those who go on a date or conference or metting etc. However, that does not mean that people should not be allowed to smoke anywhere outside. For instance, although Singapure forbid smoking on the street strictly, there are some specific places to smoke where people can smoke in that places.
In conclusion, I am of the perspective that, as there are numerous people outside who are sensitive, smoking must be forbidden on streets
