In recent years, many countries are suffering from a limited number of healthcare workers for elderly individuals. This may be caused because of the fact that, people do not have the motivation to work in such field as they lack interest and are paid less. Although it has many causes, it can be solved by implementing some solutions.
One of the main causes is that, people of this generation do not find this job interesting as they have to go from some awkward situations. Aging population, who are to be taken care of every second, can sometimes become harsh on the healthcare staffs. The workers have to wash the elderly person, clean their mess, and look after their hygiene and for this reasons some may feel difficult to work for them. Moreover, the caretaker are not paid a sufficient amount for this job and they found no interest in older people.
The solutions could be very simple, like people working in this field must be paid well.
