It is certainly true that in plenty of countries, the level of committing various crimes is increasing day by day and criminals are doing more violent actions. It is one of the most widely spread issues on the planet.
On the one hand, in many countries, socio-economic factors are the primary reason for committing crime. Firstly, poverty can contribute to criminal behavior to meet their daily needs, and they might turn to illegal activities. Secondly, unemployment is a major problem in many African and Asian countries. That’s why, a lack of job opportunities can lead to helplessness and this desperation, causing some people to commit criminal activities. To tackle these issues, creating new job opportunities, and reducing poverty can be done with government support.
On the other hand, educational and population growth can also be the main effective reasons. Having had a low quality of education, in several countries, the level of illiterate people will be grown. Increasing the population can lead to potentially contributing to higher crime rates. To solve these problems, governments are supposed to recruit subject specialists to improve the educational system and pass new rules to prevent overpopulation.
In conclusion, it seems to me that these discussed problems can be prevented by the governments and their financial support, and new policies can be effective as well. However, in numerous poor countries crimes might not be eliminated.
