The population in many parts of the world is aging. Some people claim that this is a positive impact, while others think it has more drawbacks than advantages. In my opinion, elder generation plays key role in family aspect and provides development into medicine services.
On the one hand, aging population leads to the halt in the development of technology. To put it simply, elder individuals tend to have more conservative views that are incompatible with fast-paced world. Consequently, living traditionally, aging people do not contribute to progressive ideas. Another point to consider is the expenses required for this part of society. As they live longer, the demand for financial support by the government or their families increases, placing pressure on social and economic systems. In addition, there are fewer young people, which means a reduced number of necessary specialists.
On the other hand, older people have a lot to contribute in terms of wisdom, experience and skills. Their role in providing moral support and giving advice is immensely significant due to inexperience of juveniles. Moreover, grandparents often care for their young grandchildren, making it easier for both parents to work. Secondly, if the aging population continues to rise, there will be a greater demand for specialized healthcare services, leading to advancements in medical technology. For instance, the use of wide ranging devices in Japan like robotic-assisted surgery is the result of quality improvement for the aging population.
In conclusion, while some people think that an older generation poses more challenges, it is clear that these are outweighed by the significant benefits that elderly people bring to society.
