Conflicting views exist as to whether or not increasing of teenage crime rates can indeed be attributed to multiple factors . This essay will discuss both these views in support of the latter.
Those who support the inadequate parental guidance and education can contribute to criminal behavior among teens, claim that Parents play a crucial role in discipline, and moral compass in their children. in other words Lack of proper supervision, inconsistent discipline can leave teenagers vulnerable to engaging in criminal activities.
Meanwhile others, myself included, are of the opinion that while both parental guidance and societal influences contribute to teenage crime, societal factors and technology have become increasingly influential in recent years. Efforts to prevent and reduce teenage crime should include comprehensive education and support for parents, along with measures to mitigate negative societal influences and regulate technology’s impact on adolescents.
Therefore besides looking for influencing of society and technology ‚people also understand that societal influences and advancements in technology also play significant roles. Moreover, the proliferation of technology and social media can expose adolescents to harmful influences and facilitate criminal behavior, such as cyberbullying, online scams, or accessing inappropriate content.it is therefore seems that Poor parental guidance may sharpen the negative effects of societal influences and technology, while societal factors can also influence parental behavior and priorities.
In conclusion. it is reasonable to conclude that the argument put forward by critics is far outweighed by what the factors has to increase crime for teenagers.
