In recents years, celebrating festivals holidays have been the topic of heated debate. Many people around the world most participate in carnival period rather than national holidays. Although this has positive improvements, however this side also has the drawbacks. In this essay i will discuss the reasons of this case and the effects to national identity.
To begin, The incerase amount of teenagers who contribute in hallowen’s festival. They prepare better when the hallowen and valentines festival are coming rather than when National Celebration . For instance, in Indonesia, every teenagers who have boyfriends or girlfriends to celebrating valentine days are get the flowers or gifts, however when the one of the historical was died they didn’t give an attention.
Secondly, the lack of the education is one of the main reasons why it might be the phenomeon. School where the places that every teenagers are come for studying. However, recently school doesn’t give a lot material for this case. Teacher’s limited the material about the historical and the cultural in the country. For instance, school in Jakarta have an idea for rejected the historical class and replace it with IT class. Therefore, new generation in the country doesn’t pay attention to National Days. Because of they think’s that is it not necessary to celebrating National Days.
Moreover when the time for independence day. School around the world’s have been honoring the indenpendence day by doing flagship ceremony. However many student’s doesnt come because they thinks that flagship not giving any effects to their own life.
To conclude, technology development by celebrating festival has negative effects for teenagers. Teachers is one of the main role how to make this case decline in worlwide.
