During the pandemiac of Coronavirus in 2020 we had an growing trend of working from home. At that time it made sense because we went through a social isolation due to the virus. But today, we can see people who are against this way of work. They argue that it weakens company culture, reduces collaboration, and so on.
First of all, home office caused lots of positive impacts on emplyees’ lives. It started during the pandemiac and currently it has seen as something unchangeable. Everyone realised it improved the workers productivity, work-life balance, and also reduced environmental pollution. Furthermore, individuals who are able to work from home have more time to spend with family, for instance. Another positive aspect that home office brought for us, is that now we can work for a company located in other country, everything we need is a good laptop and internet. This way of work is really effective, and more and more people are looking for it. Everyone stay happy with the final result.
On the other hand, there are individuals who disagree with this proposal. They say that during Coronavirus it was acceptable, but nowadays it doesn’t make sense anymore. For them, it has a negative impact in the company culture, leading to a social isolation, beyond it recudes collaboration. For sure, who are complaining may be workers accustomed with old traditions and methods of work. Although it could be completaly understandable. It might be a little strange when you look to your office and observe some chairs empty. However, it is necessary to say that their coworkers are spread worldwide, and it will be the future for the next generation.
In conclusion, home office has more pros than cons. I strongly agree with it. Working from home and don’t facing traffic, stress, discussions, and so on, sounds much better than spend all day at the office.
