In many countries today, crime novels and TV dramas are becoming increasingly popular due to the rising rate of criminal activities in communities. I believe more shows and books should be created to sensitize the public about the crimes being committed and their consequences.
Scenes depicting crime are gaining popularity in our societies, reflecting the high crime rates. These shows and books often illustrate how crimes are carried out, thereby raising awareness among viewers. For example, the movie ‘Den of Thieves’ features a married man who monitors his wife, an accountant at a renowned bank, to determine when money is being transported. He ultimately robs the bank and is later apprehended by the police, which causes significant emotional and financial turmoil in his family.
I think it is important for more of these novels and TV dramas to be made available to educate the public and equip them with knowledge about what to do if they find themselves in similar situations. While there is a risk that some individuals may misuse this information for criminal purposes, it’s crucial that the public understands the importance of reporting crimes to the authorities.
In conclusion, the growing popularity of crime-related shows can be attributed to increased crime rates. From my perspective, it has enhanced community awareness; however, when this knowledge falls into the wrong hands, it can lead to further criminal activity.
