In wide number of nations at present, if citizens want to search for employment, then they have to relocate to different places without their friends and family members. I believe better job opportunities provide better financial benefits but without family contacts and long distance can result into loneliness in human beings which is more harmful than advantages.
The first and foremost drawback of this recent development is work environment of multinational corporations is very demanding and challenging for both physical and mental health. Employee often works under pressure which leads to work stress and mental strain on them and in long term this leads to detrimental impact on relationships. In addition, long distance can create substantial gap in parents and children where mother or father is working in a different town and children are raised by their grandparents.
Moreover, in order to spend time with family, working professionals opt commuting between home town and workplace and this long-term transporting back and forth has negative impact on physical health such as constant back pain or spine issues. Additionally, in some cases people with job in different city is renting an apartment and living alone while their spouses and children are living in different cities therefore, this trend is often responsible for nuclear families which is very common in current modern world. In my perspective, to achieve better pay scale and opportunities people often relocate to different cities but these negative impacts on health and family can not be ignored for better financial gains.
In conclusion, while moving away for professional journey provides significant benefits but drawbacks of this trend have direct impact on family, social relations and well being of working professional which can not be ignored. Therefore, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of this modern trend.
