Band 6+: In many countries, traditional foods are being replaced by fast food. This has a negative impact on families, individuals, and society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In an era where traditional cuisine had lost its appeal for a large propotion of the society, fast food outlets strived like never before. The significance of conventional food, which were created by our anscestors, is unequalled. Despite the the claim that those dishes are void of merits, the majority prove the opposite .

On the one hand, a significant share of the society, especially the adults, state firmly that traditional food is, in every sense, indipensible on a variety of counts. Firstly, If we are to have a livable future with prolonged life, we have no choice but to consume nutrient-dense foods- edible ingrediants which are rich in vitamins, proteins and carbs. For instance, depending mainly on junk food will eventually pose a public health threat: vitamins, unsaturated fats and minerals’ deficiencies. Secondly, neglecting traditional food, rather than fast food, would result in unintended consequences in terms of the longterm heritage. To emphasise, people are becoming less healtheir than ever, facing unbearable pain.

On the other hand, however, other people allege that processed food is far from expensive; it has become accessible to cross-class peoplet. Although that might be partially true, it is rather depending on dubious grounds. Traditional food is not exclusively available. In fact: they are meant to befit anyone’s palate, taste and general judgment.

Conclusively, In spite of the proliferation of that covetable modern food, a myriad of people remain deeply convinced, owing to the plausible reasons that had been offered. In my stance, I believe that our diet choices and the survival of the populations are interwined, so traditional foods must be reintegerated into individuals’ daily life.
